ACTIVE IMAGINATION WORKSHOP
with Chiara Tozzi, Ph.D.
Saturday 3rd and 10th February, 2024
16:00 – 18:00 London, (17:00 CET, 11:00 New York, 08:00 San Francisco)
Over two Saturdays, The Journal of Analytical Psychology is offering an online (Zoom) two-part workshop on Active Imagination, led by Chiara Tozzi.
This workshop will give a historical context for Active Imagination, introduce the method and explain how Jung used it. The first part will focus predominantly on the theoretical background while the second part will provide the opportunity for personal experience.
The workshop is open to analysts and candidates in advanced training. This restriction is necessary as personal unconscious material might be activated and participants must have experience with processing images and emotions from the unconscious.
Chiara Tozzi, Ph.D., is a psychologist, writer, screenwriter, and screen-writing Professor. She is a Jungian analyst and psychotherapist in private practice in Rome. She is a training analyst and supervisor for AIPA and IAAP and lectures internationally. Chiara is the author of two books on Active Imagination which will be launched in December 2023.
